Lovell Hand & Orthopedic Center
16 years of orthopedic and hand surgical experience. In addition to specialty hand surgery, also experienced in hip and knee surgery.
Precise, advanced surgical techniques that are less invasive and lead to faster recoveries.
Treatment Utilizing the Latest Technologies
At Lovell Hand & Orthopedic Center, we specialize in the treatment of common conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, ganglion cyst, tendonitis, traumatic injuries and arthritis. We will always treat you in the least invasive, most effective way. We are constantly innovating and adapting techniques with our patients’ fastest recovery in mind.
In-Office Procedures under Local Anesthesia
We are a state-of-the art office with four fully equipped procedural suites allowing many surgeries to be done quickly, safely, and with minimal disruption to our patients’ lives. And, because our process is so streamlined, this translates to dramatically lower costs for our patients whether they use their insurance or pay cash.
Time Matters To You. And To Us.
A consistent and valid complaint from patients is frustration with how long things take. Why does it take 3-4 months to have my hand problem looked at? Why does it take another 3 months to get on the schedule to get it fixed?
At Lovell Hand & Orthopedic Center, we are committed to turning this scenario upside down. We will do everything in our power to see you within one week from point of contact. If you need a non-surgical treatment, you will get it that day, whether it is an injection or a custom splint from our certified hand therapist. If you need a procedure, then we will try to treat you within a week. In other words, instead of 4-6 months to get diagnosed and treated, we can reduce the whole process to days and weeks.

The opening of Lovell Hand & Orthopedic Center is our family’s dream come true.
Born in Germany, but raised in Grand Rapids, I have always loved West Michigan. I met my wife, Lisa, while I was a resident and she was a nurse on the orthopedic floor. Yes, that does happen. In fact, Lisa and I are partners on this exciting new venture and we can't wait to work side by side. We have been blessed by 3 beautiful kids (Samantha, Sydney, and Raymer). My family always comes first, but my patients are a close second.
